Happy Leap Year!

Happy Leap Year!  I've been thinking about where I was in life four years ago. It's amazing how much things have changed!  I was 17, Chris and I hadn't even starting dating, I was still in high school and planning on going into radiology.  Ha!

I went back to my Facebook photos from the spring of 2008 to see if I could find anything else that has changed and what I found was more of what has stayed the same!   I still have the same great girls that I am blessed to call my best friends.  Of course, we've "grown up" and life has sped up - but even without as many girl's nights, it hasn't changed what it's like when we're together.

I also found some fantastic pictures of my little sister and I.  She will probably be less than thrilled that I am posting them... I love you, Ginger. ;)   We are five years apart so the older we've gotten, the more we've had in common (the more clothes she's been able to steal from my closet) and the closer we've become.  She was my maid of honor, and being able to prepare for my big day with her was so great.  It has been amazing to watch her grow into a little lady who loves Jesus with all of her heart.

I never could have dreamed up where I am now.  I am so thankful for my family, my friends - old and new, my husband, and that I was able to discover my passion for art.  God's plans are most definitely better than ours. It's so comforting to know that it is all in His control.

I can't wait to see what the next four years bring!

I'm obsessed with vintage... everything.
I have my eye out for some really awesome vintage scissors right now.

Love these collections! I don't think I want to go that crazy with this little obsession but I can appreciate others' love for lovely things, for sure.

I'm really digging the pair on the far left.
Love the color and curvy design... so great!

I'm going to an antique shop today; maybe I'll find some. :)

Happy Monday!

In Progress: Yobe Designs

Working on a project for Yobe Frozen Yogurt today... It's giving me a serious hankering (I don't think I've ever said that word out loud... ) for some creamy yogurt with strawberries, white chocolate chips and granola. Mmmmmmmmmmmm.

They just opened up a new location at Tinseltown by Mellow Mushroom.  Definitely worth checking out if you live in Jacksonville!

I hope everyone is having a splendid weekend! :)
